Wisconsin Professional Employees Council (WPEC), Local 4848

The Wisconsin Professional Employees Council (WPEC), officially organized in March of 1993, represents approximately 4,800 state employees in numerous professions.  These employees provide a variety of public services to the citizens of Wisconsin, in positions including, but not limited to, Accountants, Agents, Analysts, Auditors, Examiners, and Program and Technical Specialist in a variety of professional areas such as Administration, Fiscal Services, Program and Planning, and Technology and Information Services.  Employees represented by WPEC are found in most state agencies and UW System campuses throughout Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Science Professionals (WSP), Local 3732

WSP represents approximately 1,500 state employees in numerous science-related professions. These employees provide the public services in the areas of agriculture, including veterinary services; chemistry, toxicology and microbiology, public health, forensic science, natural resources management, research and education and in environmental protection. Wisconsin State Public Defenders Association (WSPDA), Local 4822

WSPDA represents the staff attorneys/Assistant State Public Defenders employed by the Office of the State Public Defender and has over 200 members. Every Assistant State Public Defender is an attorney licensed to practice law in Wisconsin. Members represent indigent people who are: defendants in criminal cases, alleged delinquents (juveniles accused of crimes), children over the age of 12 who are alleged to be in need of protection and services, parents who's parental rights are being terminated, persons subject to mental commitments, persons alleged to be incompetent, persons who are subject to the sexual predator laws and appeals in all of these cases.
